TOY CRANE / Choosing a claw

Choosing the Right Claw for Each Situation

If you own several claws, simply swapping for each board noticeably raises your success rate.

Lots of small plushies → Mini Pinch

Small plushies slip between the prongs of a normal claw. Mini Pinch closes its short arms tightly around them and moves fast, so you clear boards quickly. As soon as a large prize is left on the board, swap to something else.

Large plushies → Long Reach or Golden Titan

With big plushies, the wrap width matters. Long Reach opens wide enough to wrap the body but grips a bit weaker, so aim precisely at the centre of mass. Golden Titan has both length and strength and is the most stable choice.

Balls, boxes, capsules → Rubber Grip

Prizes without fur have little friction and slide out easily. Rubber Grip’s pads make a clear difference here. It closes slowly, so go for rolling prizes while they lean against a wall.

Boss boards (every 10th level)

Boss boards mix in big, awkward prizes. Before you start one, equip your most upgraded claw, look around the board, then swap claws to match the prize you are going for.

Buy or upgrade?

If you are torn between a new claw and upgrading one you own, buy the claw that suits the prizes most common at your current levels first, then upgrade. Upgrades add +1% per step and pay off when stacked.

See the Claw Guide for each claw’s stats.
